Working with the Word

REIKO SAYS: It’s been great to meet new people at the A.R.E. groups who have read the book and have come to have a personal experience with the work.  I am wondering how other people, who have the book but can’t attend, are using I Am The Word in their own practice.  Do you have a routine?  Is there something that could help you integrate the work into your lives?  Feel free to post ideas for a workbook or guide that might be helpful to you.  With your suggestions and feedback, we might create enough momentum to entice the publisher (or someone else) to create a companion guide.

Thanks for posing the questions, Reiko. I hope that people will feel free to use this page as an opportunity to discuss the book with one another.

I read the book a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to figure this very thing out. What is my routine for I am Word? My life has been transformaning rapidly since I have read it and I’m tapping into the ability to co-create my universe. At first, I was doing a morning routine of mediation and intentions, but soon life seemed to make the early morning time difficult so now I am taking every opportunity throughout my day to listen, be grateful, and visualize my perfect self and life. I have put the last saying from the book taped up on my bathroom mirror so every morning I set this intention: “I am Word through all that I see before me. Word I am Word. I am Word through the knowing that I need to understand, to receive, to know the intentions that I must set to serve my highest good and greatest growth. I am learning, I am learning, I am learning.” I don’t know exactly where this all will take me, but I feel as if I am on river flowing through my higher self and accessing the creative parts of me that I never accessed before.

I don’t really have a routine. I’m finding that, to the extent that I’m open to receiving messages and prompts and ideas and inspirations and guidance and etc etc etc, these things seem to come to me. Example: this morning, I was feeling somewhat lost and “stuck,” and when I logged onto my Facebook page, Paul’s Facebook icon was at the top of my friends list; I clicked on it, and found the link to the video of the May 26th channeling, in which the guides discussed –surprise– being “stuck.” It was pretty much exactly what I needed to see when I saw it.
Funny: I’ve been working on my awareness of my “choice” moments, and while I was watching the video, I was interrupted several times by housemates, which, in itself, felt like a moment of choice.
I don’t know if “it’s more difficult without a group or in-person support” because I’ve (stubbornly) never tried it any other way. But that’s why the book, right? Because not everyone can do this in person.
