Filmmaker Steve Crow (Crow Digital Media) discusses the film:
Paul & The Word explores the evolution of the human race and our planet through the experiences of New York based psychic, empath and channel Paul Selig. Paul describes himself as an ordinary guy that has developed an ability to hear and repeat guidance from divine beings calling themselves simply “the Word,” or “the energy of God in action.”
Paul’s early life experiences and then gaining rather traditional measures of achievement led him to a dramatic spiritual awakening on a New York rooftop in 1987,which resulted in his seeing lights around people and eventually “hearing” information that he initially found hard to totally accept.
As opposed to popularly held 2012 prophecies, the Guides tell us that our evolution is a process that is already underway worldwide and that Paul’s abilities are just one facet of what we all can experience as we raise our individual frequencies. Paul’s journey foreshadows our own if we individually choose to claim it.

Lifebridge Sanctuary is a 2,000 sq. ft. hand crafted, green retreat center located on 95 acres of forest and spectacular open space in the Hudson Valley, on a crest of the Shawangunk mountain ridge, 80 miles north of NYC. The Upper Room — where we will meet — will give panoramic views of the Catskills during “leaf-peeping” season!
This channeled workshop is a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the palpable energies and frequencies of Word, Love, and Higher Consciousness. In this deeply experiential workshop, Paul’s guides give both group and individual attunement, healing, and teachings. Participants will receive these energetic transmissions in the core of their beings. Paul will also be available Sunday afternoon for private readings at a nearby location.
$295 – includes: workshop, accommodations, all meals and optional pick-up at the Rosendale bus station. Advance registration is required (before September 22).
$250 – early registration before September 1.
$350 – late registration after September 22.

Limited private rooms are available for $70-130 surcharge per night, please reserve early. Commuters can add on some or all meals with prior registration. Thornton writes, “In a material world, where success and happiness are often measured externally and everyone feels stuck in their own bog of self defeatism, confusion and resentment, Paul Selig’s book (channeled text) is alarmingly transformative. Selig, a gifted medium, recorded dialogues his guides communicated to him, over a period of two weeks in the winter of 2009. It is not only difficult to categorize the book, but it is just as difficult to label the dialogue of “the word” which is in a sense communication and energy that comes to Paul. It isn’t as simple as saying that we are given advice to achieve our higher self, and exercises for meditation and for opening up channels of positive energy.
